It is made from robust, UV-resistant polypropylene. The barrel is frost-resistant down to -20°C when empty, so it's advisable to empty it when there's a risk of frost to ensure it lasts a long time.
The collector is fitted with a hose connected to an opening valve, so you can easily use the rainwater collected to water plants or clean outdoor garden surfaces. An overflow drilling kit containing a hole saw is also supplied to connect an additional hose to your rainwater collector. Drilling is done on one of the two flat areas visible on the barrel.
The rigid lid with polypropylene filter prevents plants and debris from entering the water collector. This keeps the collected water clean and clear.
When not in use, it can be dismantled into four parts for safe storage in a garage or garden shed.
