Pump pressure controller
The pump pressure controller is a practical electronic system that automatically controls the operation of your pumping system. The controller ensures a constant water supply pressure to your domestic and garden watering systems.
The pressure controller, also called pressure switch, is a system that is installed between a pump and a valve or pipe. It will maintain a constant pressure in the water circuit downstream of the latter, automatically. You will not need to switch your pump on or off manually.
The pressure controller ensures a constant pressure when watering the garden or supplying domestic water.
When a tap is opened for watering, the pressure in the system drops and the pressure switch turns on the pump to provide pressurised water. Once the tap is closed, the pressure switch will switch off the pump when the operating pressure is reached.
If you use it with a multistage or single-stage pump, you can use it :
For watering the garden and vegetable patch, drip systems
For transporting water from a well, pond, river, tank or cistern to supply a household system
If you use it with a pump as a booster set, you can use the non-potable water to flush the toilet, run the washing machine or shower for example.
The controller has a built-in pressure gauge to display the pressure and LEDs that indicate when the pump is switched on, working or not working when the safety system is activated.
The pressure controller's safety system ensures that the pump does not run without water and does not overheat, and automatically stops the pump's operation if there is insufficient water in the well, tank, etc.
The electrical connection is very easy, thanks to a power supply input side, and an output side going to the pump. You can connect directly and tightly to the pump's wiring thanks to the cable gland on the body of the pressure switch's electrical box.
The pressure switch is equipped with a non-return valve, which ensures that the water does not flow backwards, that it only flows in one direction and that there are no pressure-related jolts.
This pressure switch has a restart timer, in fact, when there is a lack of water, it stops the operation of the pump. The electronic management will make a restart test every 15 minutes for the first hour, then every hour.
The starting pressure is preset at the factory to 1.5bar. This value can be changed using the adjustment screw on the top of the pressure switch.
