Solar floodlight with motion detector

The solar floodlight with motion detector is very practical because it can be installed virtually anywhere. It requires no electrical connection and has a solar panel that can be offset. This makes it possible to optimise the operation of the floodlight by installing the panel in a sunny area. In this case, the solar panel will be connected to the projector using the 3-metre cable supplied.

To make it easier to install the luminaire in the area to be lit, and to enable it to be detected by the motion detector, the floodlight and panel are mounted on easily adjustable ball-and-socket joints. Fixing accessories are included.

The luminaire has 3 adjustable functions:

Surrounding brightness (Lux button): This setting allows you to adjust the motion detector's triggering in relation to the brightness outside: as soon as it's daylight or only when it's dark.

Lighting duration (Time button): The length of time the device remains on after motion detection can be set from 10 to 60 seconds.

Motion detector sensitivity (Sens button): The detection distance of the motion sensor can be adjusted up to a distance of 10 m. The angle of detection is up to a maximum of 110 degrees.

Once the installation and settings are complete, you can choose between 2 operating modes using the selector button: I (on) - II (on) - 0 (off).

Mode 1 automatically switches the lighting on at 100% only if movement is detected and switches it off once the preset time has elapsed.

Mode 2 starts the lighting at night for continuous operation but at a low intensity of 5% (60 lumens), if movement is detected the light intensity automatically increases to 100% (1200 lumens). Once the delay has elapsed, the lighting returns to low intensity.

With IP54 protection, the solar-powered outdoor floodlight is splashproof and weatherproof.

DIY advice

The solar floodlight is easy to fit, with no need to connect it to electrical sockets. The lighting is perfect. The floodlight and panel can be aimed in almost any direction. The remote solar floodlight has a good length of cable.
