This set of two sturdy cast-iron clamp heads lets you design bespoke blind clamps. The system lets you transform a simple cleat into a powerful clamping tool that can be adjusted to the desired length, to suit all your joinery or gluing projects.
The set of two cast-iron standing clamp heads is an ideal solution for those looking for a robust, customisable clamping system. They are ideal for a variety of creative DIY jobs, such as long gluing, panel assembly and furniture making.
Designed to be fixed to a wooden strip 27mm wide by the desired height.
This device can be used to create a clamp of the desired length to suit the needs of the worksite or workshop.
The system is based on two complementary heads: one fixed and one mobile, which fit securely on either side of your support.
For locking with the clamp's safety pin, the heads have oval-shaped holes, ensuring a reliable hold during clamping operations.
The oval hole allows the cast-iron blocks to rest firmly against the wood to maintain their position and remain square. As a result, the cast-iron blocks remain firmly in place at an angle of 90° to the wooden cleat.
DIY advice
The hold is firm and it's quick to fit the attached clamp heads. By simply drilling holes in a wooden cleat, you can adapt the length of the clamp to suit your needs, which is very practical.
