50 litre bladder pressure tank
The 50 litre bladder pressure vessel is used in hot and cold water sanitary systems. The tank will limit the number of pump trips in domestic installations. When used in conjunction with a surface or submersible pump, it can be used to store water under pressure for automatic distribution.
The 50 litre capacity bladder pressure tank is suitable for the majority of domestic water systems, solar systems, pressure maintenance and garden pumps for watering.
The horizontal booster tank can be used in conjunction with a surface or submersible pump. This allows a reserve of pressurised water to be built up for automatic distribution. The booster tank can be mounted on its own or in series with the pump's discharge or at a distance from it.
It is suitable for calcareous or aggressive water.
The tank is equipped with a 26x34mm (1") connection and an integrated valve at the back to inflate the membrane.
The bladder tank, also known as a booster tank, is a piece of equipment installed on watering networks for example, or domestic networks connected to water reserves (wells, underground tanks, etc.). This tank is a water reserve used to reduce the pump's operating cycles.
A schrader valve at the back of the tank allows the correct pressure to be adjusted (valve identical to a car wheel valve). Our advice is to inflate the balloon to a pressure 0.2bar below the pressure triggered by the pressure switch that starts the pump.
A pump triggering at 1.5bar will give you a setting of 1.3bar inside the balloon (empty vessel pressure).
