Pressure bladder EPDM black 100 litres
The 100 litre replacement bladder is suitable for the majority of the current litre blowers on the market. It is used in sanitary cold and hot water systems, domestic water installations using a booster pumping water from a cistern, well or water reserve.
The 100 litre replacement bladder is made of EPDM, a high performance rubber. It has low gas permeability and is resistant to chemicals, remains elastic even at very low temperatures (down to -70°C) and is resistant to high temperatures (up to 100°C). The material is designed to withstand thousands of cycles of vibration and stretching.
The bladder tank, also known as a booster tank, is a piece of equipment installed on watering networks or domestic networks connected to water reserves (wells, underground tanks, etc.). This tank is a water reserve used to reduce the pump's operating cycles.
The membrane (bladder) in the bladder tank can wear out over time. It is therefore possible that this bladder may break and need to be replaced, leaving the booster with no water reserve and repetitive operation with jerks.
The bladder must be changed, to do this you must open the plate on the front of the balloon and then replace the internal bladder. Once reassembled, you will have to build up the correct pressure in the balloon, a valve at the back of the balloon allows you to put it back under pressure. Our advice is to inflate the balloon to a pressure 0.2 bar below the pressure triggered by the pressure switch that starts the pump.
If the pump is triggered at 1.5 bar, the pressure inside the tank will be set at 1.3 bar (empty tank pressure).
